EMERGENCY TRAUMA Gun Shot and Stab Wound First Aid Class

The C.U.M.A. Survival School is proud to present in conjunction with the Chicago Fire Department a not to miss life saving course that will teach you the Basics of Treating Gun Shot/Stab Wounds and Trauma.

This is a HANDS ON workshop.

This Chicago Fire Department STC course WILL simulate real-life patient gun shot wound /stab wound/ trauma scenarios. The environment is designed to mimic EMS field work. Simulation training emphasizes basic skills, but it also gives students repetitive, hands-on practice. The center is created and designed to enable instructors to replicate realistic scenarios.

The Chicago Fire Department STC can simulate real-life patient scenarios. The environment is designed to mimic EMS field work. Simulation training emphasizes basic skills, but it also gives students
repetitive, hands-on practice. The center is created and designed to enable instructors to replicate realistic scenarios.

There is a dark alley constructed as one of the learning stations next to a make believe sports bar. As you enter the simulation room, you will walk into a real-like home with a bedroom, living room and a bathroom to find simulation manikin monitors. The classroom has Smart Board technology separated by one-way glass windows and a control room equipped with a camera controller, pan/tilt/zoom cameras, video monitors and audio-live voice activated microphones.

The Chicago Fire Department is dedicated to providing a safe, non-threatening teaching-learning environment which will allow students to:

COST: $100.00 for non members. $50.00 for C.U.M.A. Members
